Recent Rule Updates (February 7, 2025)
Rule Update Summary:
- Finotive Funding has updated multiple rules across Challenge and Funded accounts.
- Flexibility in Trading Strategy:
- Removed restrictions on average lot sizes and risk exposure in Funded accounts.
- Traders must trade at least 10% of their Challenge-stage notional trading volume in the same asset classes.
- Transparent Risk Rule (Cash Risk Rule):
- Risk is now calculated from the initial capital for better predictability.
- Prevents traders from exceeding more than double their remaining effective balance.
- Grace period for new trades reduced from 120 seconds to 30 seconds.
- Applies to both Challenge and Funded accounts.
- Mandatory Stop Loss Rule:
- All trades must have a stop loss within 60 seconds.
- Challenge accounts: 3-strike warning system before an automatic stop loss is applied.
- Funded accounts: Automatic stop loss applied after 60 seconds.
- Traders can manually adjust the substitute stop loss.
- Minimum Stop-Loss Distance:
- Stop losses must be set at a minimum distance based on the 14-day ATR.
- Trades that don’t meet this requirement will be automatically rejected.
- Instant Funding Model Adjustments:
- Price Increase: Instant Funding accounts now cost 20% more.
- Higher Profit Splits: Increased to 60% (Instant Funding) and 65% (Instant Funding Aggressive).
- Drawdown Limit Changes:
- Instant Funding Daily Drawdown reduced to 3.5% (from 5%).
- Instant Funding Max Drawdown reduced to 7% (from 10%).
- 1-Step Challenge Max Drawdown increased to 8% (from 7%).
